The Audience Jury, presided by the Italian screenwriter Giorgio Arlorio, assigned the EuropaCinema Award to the best German film:

The Audience also assigned a special mention to the actress Katharina Derr, to make unforgettable - with her intense performance - Bica’s character, in the film Beautiful Bitch by Martin Theo Krieger.
